Thank You for Another Great Year

As Christmas approaches and we prepare to welcome a New Year, we take a moment to reflect with gratitude on what has been another truly remarkable year in Fethard Town Park.

With over 300,000 visitors through the gates in 2025, the park has once again been filled with fun and laughter, heartbreak and elation, sweat and tears. More than 350 games were played across rugby, GAA, camogie and soccer, alongside classes, walkers, runners, parkrun, a gym in full flow, coffee always close by, and continued progress marked by the opening of the Primary Care Centre.

None of this happens without people. This Christmas, we want to say a very heartfelt thank you to every volunteer, coach, player, supporter, walker, runner and visitor who gives their time, energy and goodwill so generously. Your patience, kindness, encouragement and friendship mean more than words can express. We are deeply grateful for the trust you place in us and truly honored and humbled to play our small part in something so special.

Thank you for making the park what it is, a place of community, connection and belonging. As we look ahead with hope and gratitude to 2026, we look forward to coming together once again and doing it all over again.
