Fethard Town Wall Walk
Take a self-guided or guided tour of the walled town of Fethard, the finest example of a medieval walled town in Ireland. Built by the Anglo-Normans around 1200 AD, the Town Walls Walk offer an opportunity to engage with the history, the people and the stories of Fethard.

Fethard Horse Country Experience
Located in the heart of the Golden Vale, the FHC Experience offers visitors the opportunity to discover the rich culture, heritage and history of the region. Part of Ireland’s Ancient East, this interactive experience examines the relationship between the people, the land and the horse revealing how they are all inextricably linked. Spread out over two floors within 17th century Tholsel building the interactive nature of the exhibition makes it an enjoyable and informative experience for all ages.

Slievenamon
Slievenamon takes its name from the Irish “Sliabh na mban” or “mountain of the women”. Legend goes that Fionn Mac Cumhaill (An Irish warrior) decided to choose his bride from a race between a group of women. The first to reach the summit was the woman he would take as his bride. It is a 12km easy to navigate route with beautiful scenery overlooking the Golden Vale.

Suir Waterway
Suir Blueway Tipperary is a 53km kayaking and canoe trail from Cahir to Carrick-on-Suir and a 21km walking and cycling trail from Clonmel to Carrick-on-Suir along the beautiful River Suir. It is the perfect way for all the family to sample Ireland’s beautiful countryside and rich cultural heritage.
