Fethard Town Park is an ambitious project with the potential to create a significant and transformative impact on the lives of people in the community today and in future generations.  It is a direct response to an identified need to address social and health-related issues in Fethard and the wider region, as well as a deficit in recreational facilities that meet the needs of its people. Fethard Regional Community Sport & Recreational Campus CLG is a non-profit local community group set up to develop and manage Fethard Town Park.

The park is an all-inclusive multipurpose shared municipal facility in Fethard, Co. Tipperary.
Located directly adjacent to existing primary and secondary school, sports facilities and residential areas. It is accessible to all ages, abilities and profile aiming to serve the needs of the entire community.
The 26 acre park contains 2 full size playing pitches; 1 4G all-weather pitch and 1 grass pitch, intergenerational multipurpose hall, dressing rooms, coffee dock, gym, clubhouse, running/walking trail, sensory garden and open parkland.

Fethard Town Park is the Regional Centre of Excellence for Munster Rugby, Tipperary GAA and Tipperary Ladies Football and home to local clubs, primary & secondary schools, youth groups and active elderly groups as a venue for sport, wellness activities, events and learning.

The park has been developed with an inclusive and positive approach to engaging in activities to promote health & wellbeing; whether this is a walk with friends, a quiet moment in the sensory garden, a gym workout or a titan clash on the sports fields.

It is part of the Healthy Ireland Network where all participants share a vision for a healthy Ireland, where everyone can enjoy physical and mental health and wellbeing to their full potential; where wellbeing is valued and supported at every level of society and is everyone’s responsibility.
